Filtering

You can use filters to locate geometry and collaborative actors based on their properties. In this task, you will learn how to filter by color to display all the parts of a specific color.

  1. In the ribbon, click Workshops > Properties > Filters .
  2. In the viewport, select any actor.

    Tip: To avoid having to select a color later, select an actor with the color you are filtering on.

  3. In the Filters workshop, click Show Filter and Selection Properties .
  4. Select the Color [Actor] property.

    The available properties depend on the selected actor.

  5. Set the operator to = (equal to).
  6. Select a color from the palette.
  7. Click Show Matching Actors .
