Files

The Files page lets you select files or entire folders to translate.

You must select at least one file or folder.

Notes:

  • To update existing Composer files with changes in the CAD files from which they were generated, select .smg or .smgXml files here and select Update .smg or .smgXml files on the Publish page.
  • To generate fully shattered Composer file structure, select all CAD files (top-level assembly, subassemblies, parts) the first time you translate. You can later perform incremental updates by selecting only the changed CAD files. In both cases, select only Composer (.smgXml + .smgGeom) under CAD output formats on the Publish page and select Fully shattered.

Command Name Description
Folder

Provides quick access to folders. To select a folder, click . To add the current folder to the list, click Go to Folder .

Filter

Limits the file list to the selected format.
Add to List

Adds selected files and folders to the translation list. For folders, translated files obey the Filter selection.
Files and folders to translate Lists files and folders to be translated by Sync.
Remove Removes selected files and folders from the translation list.
Remove All Removes all files and folders from the translation list.
Recurse subfolders Searches for files in all subfolders of folders in the translation list. To translate files in the specified folders only, clear this option.
