If you're seeing this Lesson, Live probably just told you that something you tried to do wasn't possible. There are two common reasons for this:

-> You're using an edition of Live with feature limitations, such as Live Intro.

-> You don't have some Ableton add-on products, such as Operator or Session Drums.

Here are a few ways to get around these limitations:

You can purchase add-on instruments and Packs or upgrade to a more powerful edition of Live at $Link www.ableton.com/shop <http://www.ableton.com/shop>. Software instruments such as Operator and Collision do not even require downloading, and can be used after authorizing in your existing Live installation.

*Work without saving*
If you've loaded a Live Set that requires features that aren't available in your edition of Live, you can continue to work with the Set. But you will not be able to save changes to the Set or any presets that you edit.
